By: Anya KollnerPublished October 07, 2016 08:07:01Amazon is known for its aggressive pricing, but the e-commerce giant’s CEO Jeff Bezos has come under fire from some of his employees for allegedly trying to control how his company operates.

In a series of tweets on Monday, Bezos claimed that he was “trying to make the Amazon team the best in the world”.

The CEO of Amazon said he was trying to make “the Amazon team” the best, he tweeted, while the company has a long history of being aggressive with pricing and customer service.

“I want to make sure that we don’t become the best of the best,” he said.

But critics of Amazon have said the company’s culture is too aggressive.

A spokesperson for Amazon said: “Amazon’s culture has always been a priority.

Our goal is to be a world leader in delivering the best value and value to our customers.

Our team has been constantly engaged in learning and adapting to the ever-changing marketplace.”

Amazon did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
